And while we're on the subject, which child actor gave your favorite young Jane performance?

I feel cranky and pubescent today, and I don't know why. I'm going to take it out on people I like.

That was quite the good read.

I'd never analyzed it that much. Just accepted a Jane who both defied and followed convention. So it was interesting to read an analysis of her defiance.

But if you're ever interested in doing another piece on Jane's character, one about how she both defies and follows convention could be fascinating.
