Why is this board a magnet for the '06 fans?

We all know that you think your version is the best, that it's perfect, that anyone who doesn't like it simply cannot recognize greatness, that we cannot bear to have the book messed about with, etc. But it's very tiresome to see the same four or five of you coming to this board over and over again to say rude things about it, or to use the writing of people who consider this a favorite as fodder for your posts, which are generally along the lines of 'Aren't these people ridiculous? Look at what they had to say about x!'

Lately I see that you've had some fun at the expense of those who enjoyed the '11 Fassbender/Wasikowska version and are engaging in the same rude nonsense with those posters but really--what is your problem? I told you this a long time ago, good lord, it must have been at least five years? six? that you acted like a group of trolls, and honestly, I think you are. There's no reason to do what you do otherwise.

Please, stay on the board for the film you like the best, and leave others alone to enjoy what they like best. Seeing your names crop up again and again is sad.
