episode with Lana Lamore

I got an Inspector gadget DVD for christmas. There's one episode where MAD make a film to cover up on of their activities and Gadget falls in love with the actress named Lana Lamore (whos really a MAD agent). There's one scene that Gadget looks directly at her boobs.

That's the episode "Movie Set". What DVD did you get? That episode isn't available on the two Region 1 Inspector Gadget DVDs .

I live in the U.K. That episodes on Volume 3. Other episodes on that DVD are All that Glitters, Movie Set and Amusement Park. All 3 are good episodes.

"All that Glitters, Movie Set and Amusement Park. All 3 are good episodes."

I love those too. All That Glitters, when Gadget goes down to Peru to find a lost city of gold. Isn't that Terry Thomas doing the voice of the Archeologist?
I watched that episode growing up. It's classic. Do you also have "A Star is Lost" and "Art Heist"?

We only got a Volume 1 DVD release here, but no fear, for in April, a 4-disc box set is coming! WOWSERS.. It may contain half the first season! It is my dream to own every episode of Inspector Gadget, and that just might finally be happening. Apparently the Volume 1 release "The Gadget Files" was just a way for DiC to test the waters, to see if anyone would buy a Gadget DVD. They did. So in cooperation with Shout!, Gadget is coming to DVD via box set. They released Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats last year and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show is on its way!

Terry Thomas did do the voice of the Archeologist.I have "A Star is Lost" but I haven't got "Art Heist". In "Star is Lost" I've read that some Heathcliff character appear but I don't know which bit they appear. I've heard the Catalic cats have appeared in another episode. Gadget appears in an episode of "Super Mario Brothers".

Have you seen any episodes with Capeman? I haven't but I've heard that's when Inspector Gadget jumps the shark.

reply

Oh I've seen all the Capeman episodes. I didn't mind him that much.

"I've heard the Catalic cats have appeared in another episode."

Around the second season of IG. And, Gadget has made appearances in the Catillac Cats cartoons.

reply

Oh Ho! That's not the worst of it- I remember when he knocks her to the floor with his hammer or whatever, there's some Jessica Rabbit-style freeze frame fun to be had..
