Am I the only one who utterly hated this show?

I mean, really. I get why people liked/loved it, but to me, the guy was just an idiotic poor man's Six-Million Dollar Man with gadgets made from parts you could find at the hardware store. Speaking of which, the movie capitalized on that in its parody of the iconic rebuilding scene, and I've lost all respect for Matthew Broderick because of his role as the title character. Thank God I never saw the sequel, because from what I've read, since it's more faithful to the series, I'd probably like it even less. I mean, the only parts I ever found funny were the self-destructing messages and any scene with Corporal Capeman.

Which one did you see first, the show or the movie?

reply

The show - but not much.

reply

Well, just pretend that movie doesn't even exist. How many episodes have you seen of the show?

reply

I'd go out on a limb and say you probably aren't the only one, but I'd imagine you're in small company...

reply

Well, I can't say that I hated it.
But I feel that the theme song is the best part of the show.
