Hot and Bothered.

My, the rambunctiousness of those adolescent years! So much kinky stuff going on in the earlier episodes of this HBO series to have satisfied my own basic instinct(s). So, it's no wonder how exposure to such titillating images have made me the sex-starved young misfit I am today. Whenever I'm unemployed, I just can't help thinking about all that bad *beep* I watched in the 1980s-90s. Not to mention all those lurid movies like Basic Instinct. It's weird. My father grew up in the 1960s-70s without all that flashy onscreen sex and violence. Stuff like Clockwork Orange could never be shown on network television. So he wonders why I can't get this sort of thing out of my head. I also grew up at a time when women tended to wear minidresses more frequently and weren't as shy of their curves! Nowadays, all I see are stick-figure women with no figures whatsoever. Sadly, minidresses or even nylons have become out of fashion. Damn those scrawny pieces of turd! That leaves me thinking back to "The Hitchhiker". One of the most memorable displays of enticement is no less a personage than Shannon Tweed, who exacts some sweet revenge on Gregg Henry in Videodate, but not before flashing her nice little titties and revealing some ultra-sexy lingerie in the episode's later scenes. Yes, the lingerie! Equally memorable is Sybill Danning's flashy turn in Face to Face, quite possibly the sexiest episode ever commited on television. Furthermore, Susan Anspach, a true milf, has never been sexier than in Dead Man's Curve as she reveals some skin-tight black latex pants. That episode is worth watching for Michael Ironside's insidious performance alone. Other masturbatory fantasies include LaGena Hart in Last Scene, Deborah Lacey in The Curse, and Margot Kidder as a sexy, though malevolent, nurse in Night Shift. Finally, be on the lookout for Meg Foster in one of the later episodes, The Martyr, where there is no nudity but she looks as stunning as ever. There I said it.

Margot Kidder used a body double for the nude scenes with Stephen McHattie.

I feel for you about what you say about womens' sh@tty fashion. It is sad we live in the days where dresses, skirts, and miniskirts are all out of style. It seems like all woman mostly like to wear are pants and jeans, jeans, and more jeans. They even wear pants and jeans when they are pregnant. How I wish jeans would go out of style. I think woman have gotten lazy in what they wear and act like they will get a rash if they dress up. But I degress.

This was a good show. Ahh, the good old days when women didn't mind being nude. Not sure this show could get made today with all the top actresses not wanting to do nudity. Heck, in horror films these days it is an extremely rare thing. I also like the Hitchhiker as being one of the extremely few shows you could not predict how it was going to end. Can't say that about movies and TV shows today.

Haha really enjoyed your post! I'm a child of the 90s so my adolescent experiences are a bit different, but I definitely connect to you on some level.

I just saw the episode "Petty Thieves," in which foxy brunette Marie Laurin ain't the least bit bashful about baring her lithe and lovely body a few times. Aleisa Shirley's two nude scenes in the pilot episode "Shattered Vows" were likewise very tasty. Let's not forget the equally scrumptious Belinda Bauer showing off her goods in "Lovesounds" as well. Moreover, I totally agree with you about Shannon Tweed in "Videodate" and Sybil Danning in "Face to Face." This show certainly didn't skimp on the yummy gratuitous female nudity in the first few seasons.

1,000 mini-bios and I feel like I'm just getting started
