seeing that all these old cult classics are being re-made, does anyone know if there are plans for a remake of this?
they should. such a good film for its day..
another one to remake would be Romero's Knightriders..

anyone agree?

THERE WAS TALK ABOUT CINEMAX OR SHOWTIME DOING THIS FOR THEIR LATE NIGHT EROTIC SHOWS,BUT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DO MORE WITH THE SEX SCENES TODAY,THAN THEY COULD HAVE BACK IN 1983.

Some guy named Micheal Mann is reamking Miami Vice?
I'm sure the original show's creator is just thrilled with that!
What next - a Battlestar Galactica remake with Edward James Olmos (Castillo on the Miami Vice TV show) as Commander Adama?
An A-Team movie? (hey, let's cast that guy from Schindler's List in it!).
And why not remake Footloose and Dirty Dancing while you're at it!!

I think it should be remade but have the hitchhiker be more apart of it and have him be like this supernatural creature who bring trouble where ever he goes so he has to keep moving from place to place.
