does anyone know where i can find the theme song from the second season, the one by joey scarbury... Back to Back?????? I have to find that song :)

Yeah that is a very catchy song. I just received the second season on DVD. I loved the theme from the first season, but this one is equal to it. I would pay big money to have the entire collection of songs that Joey Scarbury sang for the Stephen J. Cannel shows(Hardcastle & Mccormick/Greatest American Hero/Hunter/A-Team & others). He has a great, dictintive voice and sings the songs the way they should be sung. The original songs are all intact on the season 2 DVD. They replaced alot of the original songs that Joey sang from all three seasons of The Greatest American Hero. Maybe VEI can re-release them with the original songs someday. They put out a good product.

Something else about the 2nd theme song.Was it sung by someone else in a few of the episodes.Im watching the DVDs and it sounds like a few of the episodes have a C&W guy singing it.Anyone else notice it??

I did notice that. It didn't take much away from my enjoyment of the episodes-- the episodes are just as good as they were with the original song.

If you have a CD recorder you can copy the songs, because there is no voice dialog on them, and it is unlikely you will ever see them all on one CD collection

Who was singing it? It sounded like Willie Nelson...but not?

Any one have any idea? All my searches say only Scarbury, but it isn't his voice. Driving me nuts.

I personally love Back to Back, I sing along every darn time. Then again, I do the same with Drive.

Sorry but the second theme is truly awful, it doesn't even fit the show.

Sounds like a song they'd used for another of those 90's teen shows.

Like Magnum P.I.'s first theme, it didn't fit either, thank god they replaced it with the awesome theme Mike Post did for it.

I totally agree it didn't fit the show at all. The original theme did a much better job on that front, IMO.

No blah, blah, blah!
