I don't think GOT fans would like this shows. Not enough beheading, tites and floppy penises. Probably wouldn't Like Lord of the Rings either.

shareI agree. The 2012-2014 trilogy is dreadful. The 1977 classic was one of my favourite animated movies growing up and holds up pretty well.
Neither is as good as the original novel, however. If the 1977 animation were a bit longer and had included Beorn and the other minor omissions, I'd imagine it could rival the source material though.
I liked this cartoon a lot back when I was a kid in the 1980s, but I'm just severely disappointed that they never finished the series. One frickin' episode left where the gang returns home, but they couldn't even do that.
The DVDs had an audio play of the script for the unproduced finale episode. It's on Youtube here...
