Whatssup Wit Venger?

Hello Folks:

I have a few questions dealing with Venger, the evil Dark Lord in this Show.

1. "The Prison Without Walls": If Venger had the power to bring those giant stone statues to life so that they could fight DM's (Dungeon Master's) team, then how come he couldn't use them to extract any of those magical diamonds from the ground? I think it would have been a lot more efficient for Venger to use those statues as opposed to using those frequently tired and often defenseless Human dwarves. I know I would have definitely used those statues if I were Venger; using them would have gotten the work done a lot faster. Besides, the statues would have been much more loyal than the dwarves, who have had their tendencies to rebel whenever they can anyway. What is the rest of y'all's take on this?

2. What is going on with Venger anyway? What is his backstory? I mean, we know that from a few episodes, he is DM's Son-Gone-Bad. Also, we know that as he turned to the Dark Side, he most likely served as an apprentice to the One Whose Name Cannot Be Spoken - aka that Evil Nameless One - the omnipotent superdemon in "The Dungeon At the Heart of Dawn". (In both cases, I know that there is a very LONG story to all of this, very much like that of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker of STAR WARS.) Also, does Venger have any ties to anyone else? For instance, did he have some type of relationship with that Princess in "The Treasure of Tardos", the episode about that killer Dragon Bane that eventually destroyed Demodragon, one of Venger's rebellious pets? Did this Princess used to be his sister, cousin - or queen/wife? HHHHMMMM?

I loved this show very much, but some of stuff had me scratching me head. If any of y'all have any answers, then please let me know. (Also, it would be great to know the Origins of the Nameless One Himself as well.) Thank you.
