Why don't they turn this into a movie?

I loved the cartoon as a kid. And I don't understand why they can't or won't make a movie about the tv show. I know there's a 2000 movie w/ the same name but it clearly has nothing to do w/ this.

so just make a damm movie already

Lawsuits arguing who owns the name. It has been recently settled and a new franchise is in the works. I too like to see the cartoon revived.

Really? A new franchise is in the works? That would be wonderful. I'd love it if they could reassemble the original voice cast. I'd like to see the same original characters again, even if they decide to add extra ones as well.

As for a movie, I'd like to see the young actor Miles Teller play the role of Eric the Cavalier. If you've seen Miles Teller in the Divergent series of movies, you'll see how well he can play an arrogant, obnoxious, stuck-up kid. He also starred in the recent Fantastic Four movie, which was lousy and flopped (not his fault).

I say, let there be an updated cartoon, (like with Thundercats) using the original voice recordings, adding the final episode to give the series it's final farewell. Coinciding with a NEW movie , which follows the cartoon series but goes forward. I already have a script for it. As you may tell, Dungeons and dragons is forever in my heart.

how may i read your script?

There's a new movie franchise in the works but I haven't heard of a TV franchise. Would love to see that, though.

I'd love to see this resurrected and made into a movie, TV show or both.

reply

I would too, but the SJW scum in today's Hollyweird would ruin it.
