Errors and Omissions

"The First Speaker" credited on-screen was James Cope, "The Second Speaker" was Gordon Scholes. The Whitlam Government Senate leader at the time of the dismissal was Ken Wriedt. Have no idea who the credited "Liberal MP"s and "Senator" were meant to be.
Mentioned Lance Barnard but did not mention that he was Jim Cairns' predecessor as Deputy Prime Minister.
The news announcer incorrectly says that Bert Milliner was a "Queensland Labor" Senator. Milliner was a member of the Australian Labor Party not the separate Queensland Labor Party. The Queensland Labor Party (QLP) was formed in 1957 when Premier Vince Gair took 25 ALP defectors to make up that party. The QLP subsequently merged with the Democratic Labor Party.

Also narrator Peter Carroll got it wrong when he said that Gough Whitlam was the 21st Prime Minister of Australia. He was actually the 26th Prime Minister.

"President of the Senate" that is credited was Justin O'Byrne.

Perhaps when the newscaster said Bert Milliner was a Queensland Labor senator he meant he was a Labor party senator from Queensland? That would seem more likely.

As for the assertion that Whitlam was Prime Minister #26 - not officially no Kevin Rudd was #26 and Julia Gillard is #27.
In Australia they do not count separate terms of individual Prime Ministers as being two different numbers. So Deakin and Fisher who both served three terms and Menzies who served two terms are counted as one Prime Minister and therefore the narrator Peter Carroll was correct.
In his concession speech in 2007 John Howard said he was proud to be Australia's 25th Prime Minister and Kevin Rudd should be proud of being #26.

I know what the newscaster meant it is still wrong to refer to the Queensland ALP as Queensland Labor.

I don't care what the National Archives says because they got it wrong. Gough Whitlam is the 26th Prime Minister, Malcolm Fraser, the 27th, Rudd should be proud to be the 31st and Julia Gillard is the 32nd.

The office of the Prime Minister is about the continuity of governance in Australia not the person occupying it.

Also Rehoboth is a stupid idiot.

I agree 100% in fact I was such an athlete in high school, I remember once running a race and coming first, third, sixth and seventh.

And what idiot can't tell the difference between a Queensland Labor Senator and a Queensland Labor Senator? Two completely different things.
