Summer of 83 all over cable t.v..

HBO, the movie channel. it was always on. this did better on cable than it did in the theaters a year earlier. which i think it really tanked at the box office.. As a 10 yr old. i loved it...

wow, take me back to the summer of '83- my youth and I remember it well. I also remember this movie was constantly on cable back then, it was great to watch as a kid!

It didn't tank at the box office. It cost $2 million to make and grossed over $16 million.

Yup and 13 year old me was in front of my 13 inch black and white tv watching that summer. I liked Felice Schacter more than I did Heather Thomas.
