What a great film
Its Star Wars meets Conan the Barbarian. And the evil Overlord is every bit menacing as Emperor Palpatine. Yor in some ways is more heroic than Luke Skywalker, because he saved the planet in the end
shareBut wait, there's more! The original Italian mini-series (Il Mondo di Yor) is four episodes totaling about 3 1/2 hours. I haven't seen a really great looking copy, so for bluray quality you still need the movie version. Don't worry though, the best stuff did go into the film version.
Remember: Yor's world...He's the man!
I have the 3 1/2 hour version. It's Yor to the max. And yes, in every conceivable way Yor is superior to Star Wars. Let me count the ways:
1. The theme song. It's Yor's world and he's the man!
2. Evil purple cavemen.
3. Blonde and Brunette hottie cat fights.
4. Damn talking box
5. Paper mache dinosaurs
6. Giant bat hang glider
Agree. Still want an HD copy though...
