The dvd of this fun martial arts pic is mastered from a horrific-looking print. Furthermore, it is full frame because someone lost the widescreen master.
This disc recently went out of print. Does anyone know if there are plans to start from scratch with the transfer?
I know celestial pictures has done a wonderful job with a lot of shaw brothers dvds for region 3 -- but am not sure if this is on their plate.
Its coming out in 2006 from celestial pictures in widescreen.

shareHK Flix is taking preorders for a widescreen uncut copy of this on dvd but it is region 3 only so you need a code free dvd player. Those of you who can live with the full screen dubbed copy can find it on the net along with the equally funny Chinese Super Ninjas 2 which has the spinning female ninja that morphs into a silk bikini. Also full screen dubbed. Like Inframan well worth having.
