Realistic movie, not one use of "bro" or "sis" by the white or black

characters
As far as movie goes, not as crappy as most hood movies, but not my cup of tea, but at least that stupidity ain't there.
Don't know if the Spanish characters say it, but the black or white characters -- neither of them say it. Realistic movie for a change. A far cry from the stupid "Empire" show.

What the hell are you talking about? This is considered to be one of the very first hip-hop films to get a look at that scene while it was still mostly an underground thing and before it became commercialized, so it has that historical importance. And you're nitpicking about the slang? How is saying "bro" or "sis" in anyway stupid? Get a damn grip, for real. Also, this and EMPIRE are two entirely different things--it trips me out how some white folks just throw anything with black folks in it all together as if they're all the same. And I happen to like EMPIRE, which is pretty realistic to some extent, as well as the slang, too. Nothing stupid about it. Obviously you didn't know anything about this film of the importance of it, and you obviously can't relate to it, so why did you even watch it? You're obviously not an old-school hip hop head (the folks who would really appreciate this flick much better, especially in light of the new show about hip-hops history, THE GET DOWN) so really, your opinion about the film is worthless. And your post is just plain stupid anyway.

Reread the post. It's not my fault you can't read.
I said not one use of the words by black or white characters, being that "bro" is not black or white slang, unlike how most dumb movies make it out to be LMFAO
