I am a big fan of exploitation and WIP films. That said I found this movie to be quite boring. Dont waste your time here, check out Ilsa, Big Bird Cage, or Women in Fury instead.

shareEveryone heed marcag's warning, because he knows whereof he speaks (at least I assume it's "he"). This film is horrible in every respect except one: the techno music is terrific. Unfortunately, you have to endure a lot of cliched dialogue and women-in-prison cliches to get there. And if you get the English-language version, the dubbing is horrible.
Consider this two mallets down for "Caged Women."
I found this film to be a satisfyingly scuzzy piece of low-grade sleaze. The rat attack sequence in particular was simply fantastic.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
Woodyanders has it pegged right.
shareRat part freaked me out.
I hate rats.

This one was filmed with the same cast and crew as the infinitely more bat shit crazy Women’s Prison Massacre (1983).
However I would also like to say that Franca Stoppi is strangely seductive, as in everything else I’ve seen her in, here as the head prison guard.
But yeah, if I had to choose between the two, it wouldn’t be this one.
