i would say it tthe raven was an insparation, but not the only one and not cloe enough to be considered and adaptation or appropriation

"Vincent" has many references to Vincent Price's Poe film adaptations. Some that come to mind include "The Tomb Of Ligea", "Diary Of A Madman", "House Of Wax" and, of course, "The Raven", among others. It's meant, as the title suggests, to be an hommage to Vincent Price's renditions in these classic cult films.
