Man, do I absolutely love this amazingly trashy'n'thrashy hard rock theme song. That tough, grinding beat, the incessant hacksaw guitar riff, the hilariously fumbling'n'stumbling drums, Wings Hauser's simply stupendous tonsil-tearin', hoarsely hollerin', leather-lunged open up and bellow vocal, and especially those incredible "did he just sing that?" sleazy lyrics (all-time favorite verse: "The music/The violence/The sex/The sweet smell"). It's without a doubt one of the best theme songs ever recorded for an early 80's exploitation action flick. And none other than legendary hard rock hellion Simon Stokes wrote the aforementioned scuzzoid lyrics. Wow!

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention in my original post that this song truly needs to be covered by Lemmy from Motorhead. Man, Lemmy would just tear this song to pieces with that great gritty'n'gravelly guttural wail of his. Steven Tyler from Aerosmith or Axl Rose from Guns'n'Roses would be my two other pefect choices for doing a hard rock cover of "Neon Slime."
