Does anyone know the name of this movie by chance? I had watched on tv along time ago it was about a man that purchased a black mamba snacke and he locked it in with his girlfriend in an apt or small cottage house and all thru the movie she isnt aware it is there till towards the end and it is a thriller run and hide for her life?? Thanks if anyone can tell me name of it and if you saw it...

shareIf you are a true fan of this movie, read the book it is based on. I was amazed how good a read it was and how deep each character was. Of course there are some changes, as there always are with movie adaptations. The biggest of these is that the character of Phillip's grandfather does not exist in the book. That character in the book is a man named Howard who was a former big game hunter and game warden at Phillip's stepfather's hotel in Kenya.
There is great development of the characters of Jacmel and Louise and the ending in the book is much better. The character of Bulloch is also very complex and the dynamic between Bulloch and his Constable is captivating.
The book was written by Alan Schofield. Read it and then watch the movie again. It will give you a completely different perspective.
