By far the scariest scene is when the nanny (played by Susan George) goes into posion convulsions and dies spitting up blood. I remember seeing this on Pay-TV in 1982 and I must have been 10 years old.
Something about Michael Kamen's music score, the acting by George which really sells her death and the make-up.
