Code Red just released this on DVD.

With audio commentary by Jackie Giroux, Peter Jason, Chris Graver, Cinematographer R. Michael Stringer, moderated by Sean Graver.

It looks and sounds really good. Very bright colors. Nice deep blacks. While no where near a great slasher, it's one of those early 80's fun flicks that deserves the occasional watch.

I've got to say I was very surprised how good the whole thing looked and sounded given the only copies I've ever seen came from faded VHS tapes I rented at our local store. It was $20 well spent.

That's pretty impressive - that a 30-year old B-movie can look and sound so good given the right treatment.

Like you, I only saw this on worn rental tapes. Will have to check out the Code Red transfer.
