where did you find this on dvd? was it a crappy vhs transfer, or was it cleaned up?
shareI believe it was a VHS transfer that was cleaned up. I also have the Mystery Science Theater episode, so I put both in a dual disc case with artwork and everything, it's pretty sweet.

On DVD?! I have an old VHS copy that is so worn out, that you can alomost see through the tape. If you have "The Keep" on DVD, where in the hell did you get that?

I'd love to see this cheesefest on DVD, but somehow, watching it on a ratty old VHS tape is a perfect experience for me.
shareYa, I understand. I put together a lilttle double DVD box set, on the left is the feature film, and on the right the mystery science theatere 3000 episode for the film. I kinda like it :)

I received the DVDs you sent me. They arrived yesterday. I don't know how to thank you enough for them. I watched a bit of the one that was not from MST 3000, and the quality is much better than the old VHS copy I had. In anticipation of the dvd you sent me, I made a DVD label for it and I was wondering if you would like a copy of it.

Sorry, I do not have the address. I have the cover made in PowerPoint and could just email it to you. I would also be more than happy to print out a few copies on my high quality laser (color) printer. I have high gloss labels with the small hole in the center. Just let me know. I will email the slide to you first and if it meets your approval, I will mail actual copies (after you give me your address again). Thanks again for the DVD!
Okay I resized it as a default disc format, the only problem was that the middle text gets cut off by the disc cutaway, but I was able to fix it in Photoshop. Here's the finished label:

I don't know if you ever heard (I see your post is two and a half years old), but 'Gargoyles' did get an official DVD re-release courtesy of a company called Hen's Tooth, and it even includes a director commentary.
