When the monster itself is doing its thing, it's a fun movie. But the rest is all a bunch of men talking, and that's dull. I never did get the hype for this movie, and the so-called suspense is missing.

People have to talk in movies. That's how background info and plots are planted and carried out. Yes the practical effects are incredible and fun but that can't be 100 percent of the movie. Go play a video game if that's what you're complaining about. This movies has great suspense and dialog.
