Scariest scenes/ Grossest scenes for you?

I'm sure this was brought up before, but what were your most scariest scenes and grossest scenes? FYI, in horror, scary and gross are 2 different things to me. Some of my friends think gross = scary, but I don't necessarily agree with that.
I first watched this when I was around 10.

Scariest:
-When Palmer's blood jumps and shrieks. I thought Macready's test was really nonsense in the beginning.
-Shadowy figure running past Fuchs.
-And odd one, but when Macready goes looking for Nauls at the end and it's dead silent. Macready flicks on a lighter and the "flick" made me jump because I know something was eventually going to happen.
-As an adult now, the Norwegian camp always creeps me out. Ignoring the 2011 premake, the eerie music and just slowly looking at the aftermath of the dark and wrecked camp always gets me. It's just such a well done scene and makes me imagine the horrors that happened at this camp. FYI, I personally don't find the 2011 movie canon. Some scenes/stories just don't need to be answered.

Grossest:
-When the dog thing starts changing and quickly splits its face opens with crab legs and tentacles coming out. It was so shocking to see and just over all a nasty looking abomination. And the darkly light kennel made it extra nasty to look at.
-Upon rewatching in college years, seeing Blair extracting organs from the split face thing was really nasty to watch, considering the organs were real (animal) ones.

For grossness, nothing can top the body on the table that first opens up and chops off Dr. Copper's arms, then lowers its head to the floor, where it detaches, sprouts legs, and scurries across the room.

For all of the wild transformations and alien hijinks, you know which moments make me cringe the most: The simple cutting of thumbs to extract blood samples. Seriously, I wince every time!

Scariest: Agreed with the Fuchs scene and especially with Mac stopping mid-sentence to realize it's all over, it finally hit him, the reality's never been closer. I'd also like to add the ominous tracking shot of the hallway/basement steps/Childs' door, with the score playing in background. Then there's also Mac alarming the station, Blar-Think jumpscare on Garry, poor dog chewing his way out of the terror, Windows creating horrific slurping sounds while covered with goo, Bennings-Thing's hands and scream, Splitface moving the blanket, the insanely weird sinister laughter in the last scene (???), those bonechilling screams of past victims during the kennel scene.

Grossest: Entire kennel scene, Windows in the middle of transformation, Bennings being mouth-raped, Blair-Thing (shame they could only afford a mid-range shot).

Scariest: The Bennings-Thing burning scene. Freaked me out as a kid, ugh that scream.....
Grossest: The autopsy scene. Those closeups were nasty. 😂
