RIP this board

This board in particular was one of my favorite places on the whole Internet, I had countless discussions over the course of 15 years. I'm sad IMDb doesn't recognize the value of these really intelligent and useful posts, but oh well... they decided using quantity and not quality as their standard, so ultimately it's just sad.

Cheers guys, I hope we can have some more talk about this film someplace else - like Reddit for example.

You had never found your way to Outpost #31? Great fan discussion, topics, posts here on the active FB Group: https://www.facebook.com/outpost31dotcom/

OK, I liked the page now, but all in all, I rarely use Facebook for... anything. Great group there tho, keeep it up!

I just registered on this site: https://www.themoviedb.org/

It looks pretty decent so far and from what I've seen on their general forum board there are people from IMDB checking it out.

If you visit a page for a film, move your cursor to the left of the screen. There's a message bubble there and it's labeled "Discussions".

If enough people register we can still have good discussions there.

On the contrary sati_84, IMDb does indeed know the value of the MESSAGE BOARD! Unlike themovieboard, thegotboard, imdforums, thedeckone, forums.previously.tv/forum_271-startrek or Reddit, IMDb MSG BRD is right there when IMDb pops-up. It's not spread-out all over the internet. If I'm a casting director or producer or maybe director, I can do a little extra homework and simply (very simply) go to the MSG BRD and get fan reaction. Some of it quite professional! After signing-up, of course.

Hah! Never thought I'd get the chance to reply to my own post about the end of this board... Turns out the good folks on this site have saved the whole thing!

Let's continue, guys!
