Why hasn't this classic movie been shown on regular cable television? I mean this was a really good movie to watch! I loved this movie because I thought it was comical that people would mistake him for Bruce Lee you know.
shareMy guess would be two many era specific references i.e. Schlitz bull, Toyota oh what a feeling. That and the stereotypical references are littered all over this movie where they would have to alter/cut to much out.
shareI remember watching this on USA Network back in the day when USA Networks programming was a lot better than what it is now and USA UP ALL NIGHT use to show this as well because I remember watching it when they had good late night entertainment on USA Network on the weekends.

Yes, but todays generation loves to look at things that ocurred back during the 80's and it is also great to see some of the things that I remember during my youth of seeing on commercials like Life Cereal the reference to Mikey, Schlitz Bull, Toyotas Oh what a feeling, and I am sure a few others too.

This should be on - i remember this when i was 12 or 13 years old and thought it was a riot - i don't think it a few jokes from that era would ruin watching it now. Many viewers would still get those jokes.

I was 10 years old when this movie came out in 1982. I figured that I would see this on a late at night station you know that would show a variety of movies like this but I have not seen this movie in like ages!
I know USA Network use to show movies like this back in the day but when they changed programming they stopped airing movies like this.

Yes I totally agree that this should be on because I was 10 years old when this came out back in 1982. I can remember when USA Network use to show this on during the weekends in the afternoon and on USA UP ALL NIGHT as well! Those were the days when entertainment as a lot better than how it is now to be honest with you. The jokes are great to watch!

They showed this movie on HBO in the mid 80's. Back when HBO was awesome.

What I meant by the question is that has this movie been shown on any cable network like a NBC, CBS, ABC, or a local station that is in your home town? I know that while I lived up North in between Chicago and Milwaukee, Wisconsin the CW would air late at night during the week movies at like 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning films like this that were low grade B movies. When I moved back to my home town here in Central Illinois I was hoping that the CW here would show films like that in the middle of the night, but they had different programming down here though than up North.
