Childhood Memory

I saw this in the theatres when I was 11 years old, I loved it. Its funny how corny movies you see again after 20 years seem when everything you remember about them is so magical.

I know, I saw this movie about ten times in the movie theater and havent seen it since. I wonder just how corny it is? I loved it as a 12 year old. But who knows now. I would love to see it again in 3D on dvd.

Yeah so would I. It's one of those I might buy on Ebay one of these days along with Raggedy Ann and Andy Musical Adventure, which is the first movie I ever saw in theaters when I was 3

I saw TV ads for this movie as a teenager, thought it sounded intriguing, thought about seeing it, but never got around to it. The theater experience had gone bad for me by then (exorbitantly priced refreshments, tickets likewise, people sitting around me who wouldn't shut up so I could hear the soundtrack, and furthermore, I smoked at the time and had to leave the auditorium every so often for cigarette breaks. Thank god I quit).

I'd like to see this movie on DVD.

That's good. Go on. Read some more. —Warren G. Harding

I have fond memories of seeing this in the theater as a kid, too. Also saw Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone and Jaws 3-D. Never got a chance to see Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared Syn in 3-D, and I was too young to see Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3-D.

I did end up picking this up as 3d dvd from ebay, and watching it today... it is bad but I love it all the same purely on the basis of nostalgia.

Official release of this and Raggedy Ann and Andy's Musical Adventure would be awesome but most likely will never happen for various legal reasons.
'I have found them through other means though and done my own recodes on both for quality.

I saw this film in the theater when I was 13 years old in 1982 on a cold, rainy summer day. I loved it. Watched it every time it came onto HBO throughout the 80's. Now, I pray for the DVD release someday. Who knows? Hopefully!

I too saw this back in the 80's when I was 12 or 13 years old. At the time I saw it for what it was, a crummy Indiana Jones ripoff...but I loved it just the same! My only regret is that I didn't have a chance to see it in all its 3D glory in the movie theatre!

was just wondering if this movie had a flaming tumbleweed (or something of that nature) that was in 3-D. My older brother & I remember a 3D movie on HBO/Cinemax in the early 80's with that... unfortunately, it's all we really remember about the movie... if this is it, I'd love to see it again! Thanks!

I saw this when I was twelve years old, in 1983, in cinematic 3D. Even then, I was rather disappointed with it.

Seeing this in the theater was a pretty awful memory for me. I was 12 or 13 and tagged along with my brother and his friend for a trek on foot to the theater. This was in a Colorado blizzard and the walk was several miles. So by the time the movie was over, the frost had melted and we were entirely soaked. Then had to make the trek home in the dark....same blizzard but now soaking wet. Dang I was miserable!
