The worst background score in history

So annoying and unnecessary. It is loud and the sounds are disturbing. I've never heard anything worse than it.

Yeah, heaven forbid a horror film have a disturbing soundtrack. What were they thinking?

reply

I love it and bought the soundtrack!

Disagree with the OP... It's one of the few synth-heavy '80s scores that still holds up.

Sorry OP, but yeah man, I dig the soundtrack! Even though it isn't quite ALL the members of Goblin, you cannot really tell and IMO it is a great slice of 80's synth!

A very trippy film, even by D.A. standards! heh...like how murders are taken out of the dark and happen in daylight also. IMO it's a solid film, but only for D.A. fans, for sure, others need not apply =)

Only directors like Stanley Kubrick and Dario Argento would spend 3 days filming a crane shot that is only about 3 minutes length on film hehe.

The soundtrack was a bit off putting for me, too. Loved most other aspects of the film, but the soundtrack didn't capture the mood for me. The dream sequence melody was exquisite, though.

"If it is the worst thing you've heard, you're admitting that the transvestite Lady Gaga sounds BETTER than this epic score. Or the show Glee that makes every song from overrated top 40 douchey drivel sound like seals being clubbed by starving African children who are skinned for not finding enough diamonds."

HAHA, so hilarious and SO TRUE.

"Tenebrae"'s score is FANTASTIC. How dare anyone speak ill.

reply

Yeah, I wonder where that lesbian girl picked up the Tenebrae soundtrack ...

reply

I absolutely loved it! Was the best part of the movie, along with the cinematography.

Soundtrack is awesome. Juxtaposition of the groovy dance score with the murders is bizarre.
