Pre-ordered mine. None too happy about spending 46 dollars shipped for one movie, but tenebre is my favorite Argento film so i can't pass up those exclusive special features. Plus I'll try to recoup some costs by selling off the DVD disc.

Yeah that was a steep price. However quality is terrific. I love Tenebre also but as of now no plans for another release though I have a feeling at some point it'll be released again without the extras. But if I knew for sure there would be another release I would have waited.

Extras are nice, but I watch them once and that's it. Glad I passed on Demons and got the regular edition. Synapse says this Tenebre release is it that's why I did it. If a single edition comes out than I know for Phenomena and Suspiria to just wait.

Though I am interested in the documentary on the giallo so it's cool, but I mainly just bought it only for the film extras didn't factor in for me

The movie looks spectacular. Was like seeing it again for the first time. The set itself is gorgeous, I was going to attempt and sell off the DVD copy but I now can't dream of disassembling this amazing edition. Will also hold on to my anchor bay disc for the Argento commentary.

Apparently Synapse does not plan on releasing this as a single disc version like they did with Demons 1 and 2. So pick this up if you all want it!

Well surprise surprise. Synapse full blown lied to us and is now claiming it was a PR rep who mistakingly said on their Facebook page that this would be a steel-only release.

Good news for those of you who want a single disc edition, you're getting it with all the special features intact (unlike us unlucky Demons purchasers). Bad news for us who were duped. The booklet and soundtrack are still exclusive to the steel release which is good news, and I still do think the artwork is gorgeous. especially the back picture of Ania Pieroni
