The movie seems to end quite abruptly. Like it's suppose to go to the next scene, but instead just freezes and rolls the credits. Did they do this on purpose and this was suppose to be the ending or did they just cut the rest?

Why is the Green Knight unkillable by cutting his head, yet dies from a simple cut to the chest (like the opposite of Highlander)?

Why do they call Green Knight's words the riddle, when it's actually a prophecy?

Back when the story was written they ended thins like that.
As I understand it from the story the Green Knight was part of Merlin's magic and presumably his spell had run its course by then.
As for the riddle they weren't like our modern riddles I'd imagine. I mean there was a time when a romance wasn't what we now know as a romance but a tale of adventure so I can see the meaning and form of what is known as a riddle having changed over the course of 1000 yrs too.
