...shoots 3 blades? All I remember that the guy shot a blade towards another guy and the blade stabbed the other guy's hand and got pinned on a tree.
If so, I've been looking for this movie for years.
This is the movie, but actually, it only shoots 2 blades, with the main blade intact.
However, in the movie that is considered the sequel to Sword and the Sorcerer (Abelar:Tales of an Ancient Empire from 2010) the sword DOES shoot 3 blades somehow, so somewhere between the two movies the sword got a fourth blade. By the way, the 'sequel', if you call it that, is one of the worst movies ever made.

The scene where Talon's hand gets pinned to a tree isn't a blade from the sword though. An enemy archer fires an arrow at Talon and it is this that pins his hand to the tree. Talon then uses his free hand to swing the sword to fire one of its blades at the archer, which hits with enough force to send the archer flying into the bushes behind him.
