The new movie, that is. I watched it yesterday, and although it was nice and all, I felt such a need for George Hearn's Sweeney that I had to sit down and watch this one right after. Ahhhhhhh, much better.
shareI do like the version of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, but it is not really the same compared to this even with all the changes they have made, but you see a lot of stuff they have to pretend on stage, they didn't with the movie.
shareI don't mind Tim Burton's version, but it WAS watching the original taped Broadway production that really got me into Sweeney Todd. I watch the latter more than the former, for sure.
