Beautiful but flawed

I really liked the film, it's visually breathtaking and sincere throughout. But i found that the narrator was not needed at all, or at least it should be used less. It kind of hold our hand through the film, while i think it would have been a lot stronger with the images alone, which was done amazingly well in Erice's other film Spirit of the Beehive. Overall it's still an extremely honest and heartfelt film.
