Best Ghost films ever made!

Best ghost/supernatural film ever made. Makes all other haunted house movies look like pussies! This one has balls! Hell of a flick!

Dito that....!

In most other ghost movies the only things we notices are clinging crystal lamps, closing doors, pianos that start playing on its own and those kind of things. In this one the ghost ATTACKS the characters and kills them in the most BRUTAL ways =). Still it has all the ghost story elements in it.

I tell you what, when they showed the flashback to the witch and
her voice started dropping down from a ladies alto to a male bass (when she was saying " I have no need for his mercy, I am the daughter of SATAN")
That totally creeped me out, that and the ending was totally cool!!!

Yeah, it is awesomeness. No flimsy cross will stop this witch, she gets down to business! I think her and John Corbis from "The Devil's Rain" would make a perfect couple.

Nah.

It operates more like a slasher film than a typical supernatural/haunting film. The kill scenes are the main sell here, plus the cool and creepy witch.

Some other ghost films have outstanding creepy atmospheres. I'd say The Innocents (1961) is the best 'ghost film'. Though I guess The Shining (1980) could count as one too? The Changeling (1980) and The Others (2001) are two more.

This was a decent little fun flick though.
