Did they change the soundtrack?

My wife saw this when she was a kid and says that the original soundtrack was more disturbing - dark choirs, that kind of thing. Anyone have any insight into this?

I don't know whether they changed it or not, as I just got the new DVD. But I hate it when they do that to other movies, for example "Happy Birthday to Me"! Grrrrr!

I remember the soundtrack being the same on the original video release as well as the more recent DVD release.

Sounds like dark choirs to me!
