Greenbacks was the only thing I could remember from when I saw this film as a teenager probably when it was first aired shown on TV in the UK. Watched it again last night and thought it was a good, creepy thriller. Didn't remember the numerous Hitchcock homages, or the fact that Streep or Scheider were in it - the reason I recorded it to watch. I am surprised it hasn't got more frequent showings on terrestrial TV. Caught it last night on TCM.

Thank Gawd for TCM. Watching it right now. If not for them, some of these little-seen movies would just gather dust on the shelf. I always thought this movie was pretty good, as a thriller.

shareEach time I see this movie, I love it a little more, so I bought it. Agree with you about TCM. Growing up you could see their library on Channel 7 in NY or Channel 9 in Chicago, and the like, but no more. If not for TCM, one would be hard-pressed to share the classics with young family members. TCM is why I haven't cut the cord with Dish. Although I understand Sling TV has added TCM, so perhaps...
