Name of Guitarist in Starstruck
Does anyone know the name of the quiet guitarist with the dark hair and glasses? He only had a couple of lines in the movie.

I have been wondering the same thing. Not sure either, but here are the possibilities (drawn from the cast list):
Carl (played by Mark Little)
Spider (Ian Spence)
Phil (Kerry McKay)
Timpany (Peter Davies) - probably the drummer...
Will watch the movie again and see if I can narrow it down further.
Robbie is the guitarist. He is played by Ned Landers.

On the dvd extras he also sings with her during a Countdown performance.
Spider is the keyboard player (guy with the short red hair).
Ned Landers plays Robbie, the singer and most likely rhythm guitar. He did NOT wear glasses. Robbie has plenty of lines. He is more or less the male lead of the story (as something of the love interest for Jackie, and leaving Angus aside, if that's possible).
That leaves two guys, Mark Little as Carl, or Kerry McKay as Phil, either of whom could be the lead guitarist with the dark hair and glasses, with kind of a nerdy, geek look.
I just saw some recent photos of Mark Little, and he sure looks more like the bass player, than he does the soft spoken guitarist who wore glasses.

I don't know... I think that it's basically the same now as it was then. Nowadays there are more ads, more people, but basically it's the same imdb.
I had to start using a browser that blocked all the invasive flash ads that would crawl across the whole page, which was really annoying. But, since doing that, it's been the same imdb that I've always known and loved.
