Twitter cancels Kirstie Alley. Robin Curtis is now Saavik

yeh check out twitter, all the trekkies (and trek actors) have now disowned her as saavik. She's been de-saavik'd

Robin Curtis is now considered the best and 'only' saavik after 36 years of everyone moaning that Alley should've been saavik in Trek III 😄

Let's be real here, I'm not going to be one of those people who is going to have hard time rewatching The Wrath of Khan just because of Kirstie Alley's support of Donald Trump. Think about it this way, Star Trek: The Motion Picture featured an admitted child molester in Stephen Collins in a predominate role.

😃

the far left are going to suffer badly if Trump does it again

Was just reading the comments on Mark Hamills latest Biden instagram post and was shocked at the amount of Trump support, literally every comment is Trump2020 etc.. stuff like that makes me wonder if theres going to be another Trump victory helped by all the lefty celebrities endorsing the democrats while vilifying Trump

reply

"predominate"??

reply

I didn't know about those things. Collins being a child molester is horrible but supporting Trump is going way too far. First thing I'm gonna do when I get home is take a hammer to my Wrath of Khan blu ray.

Does anybody actually take Twitter seriously?

reply

No. They don't.

reply

Twitter is for crazy people.

reply

And assholes who want to be mean, in an environment where people can't punch them in the face when they deserve it.

reply

I didn't mind Curtis as Saavik but she was not nearly as good as Alley.

reply

I cancel Twitter. Alley re-Saavik'ed.

It is a crazy era of rampant chain-sycophants. If only everyone could just hate more.

In the immortal words of John Emdall, "So what... Who cares?"
Honestly, why don't we just ignore the political and social pronouncements of actors, directors, musicians, painters etc. Their work can be taken on its own merits.
