'Oop, My Balls!'

Did anyone catch the old man at the beggining say that line, when he squats down to grab a stick and play fetch with his dog???? I rewound it like a hundred times and I swear that's what he says.

hey, that's my boy Sal Carollo you're talking about!

I'm pretty sure he said "My Bones!" when he bends over. Either way, it's awesome to see a connection between SERPICO and THE NEW YORK RIPPER.

reply

Haha, when I first heard it I thought he said "Oh, my balls" too!

Fulci was known for showing a little humor from time to time, I think it really did say balls. Even if it didn't I will still believe thats what it was lol

reply

hahaha. by far, that is the best part of the movie.

Nothing related to the dialogue, but did you know that the dog in the opening scene was personally trained by Captain Haggerty himself, the same dog trainer/actor who appeared as the large zombie aboard the sailboat in the opening scenes in Lucio Fulci's 'Zombie', three years earlier.

I feel the same way! I love both movies, and it's cool to see that actor in both. =D
