Saddest movie ever?

Do you agree?

It is definitely the most heart-rending, soul-destroying movie I've yet to see.

Million Dollar Baby is a close second. After that, The Mission and Atonement.

I've never seen The Notebook, and I probably never will because I detest Nicholas Sparks.

Truly one of the saddest. Never Let Me Go (2010) was also very sad. I thought about it for days after watching.

No. I'd have to say Sixteen Candles the table cake scene makes me weep like a child every time.

The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968) has a very sad ending

One of the saddest deff. But for me the saddest movie I think it was The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

Raylan Givens: I'm going to need an ambulance, and a coroner.

Yes, it's the story most sad and terrible, that I've never seen in a movie.
A very depressive film, I avoid his reviewing.

Great role of the Trump's overated friend...Tearful woman as always.

It is depressing beyond words. Unlike "Schindler's List", which amidst all the horrible has a true hero and survivers with a chance of a real life after the war, "Sophie's Choice" shows a completely broken human being. Another movie I found so sad that I can't rewatch it is "The Secret Life of Words" with Sarah Polley, directed by Isabel Coixet.
