Remake?

Looks like David Gordon Green is taking a shot at it.

I rarely see a movie (and by rarely I mean never) and say to myself, "dang, it would be awesome to see somebody redo this movie!" but as much as I've loved the original since I was a kid, this puppy is screaming for a remake! If DGG does it right there's no reason why this movie won't be a hoot. Not like the Bad News Bears, which didn't suck but never should have been remade in the first place.

I understand the sentiment behind "NO REMAKES NEVER, EVER"
but c'mon, this movie could be frikkin awesome.

Umm....how about this.."No freaking way! No remake!"
Leave them classic alone.

Maybe a "Six Pack" reboot would be pretty good if they do it right. "The Bad News Bears" (2005) would've been a much better movie if it wasn't so politically correct.

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.
