Whats it like making love to my daddy ??? WTF !!

First the girl says 'I bet you wanna make love to my daddy'. Instead of fielding the question with an answer appropriate to children their age (to to mention its their FATHER she replies to these adolecents 'Yes I do" which then leads into "Whats it like making love to my daddy ???" - "Its like eating ice cream ..." etc. WTF ? Are you kiddin' me ?? Was this meant to show what a jerk this woman is or, in some part of the world, are people really this fricked in the frickin' head ?
If I was Finneys character and I overheard her answer the way she did, I'd have kicked her to the curb so quick her head would spin - and no, I wouldn't have called a cab for her ! What a clueless idiot !!

yeah that was just an odd scene. this whole movie was actually not very good.

I agree, it was an odd scene.
But it was weirder that the kid asked the question in the first place and kept it up with a follow-up question. I think it was the kind of answer to let the kid know she was not getting under her skin. She had a shocking answer for the rude kid's question.

That scene creeped me out. Never have I ever been curious about what having sex with my dad was like, no matter what my age! It's just disturbing that some adult writer gave a kid a line like that.

Well, most oddball dialogue like that is taken from real-life situations. I've heard many a friend's kid ask stuff where you would do massive double-takes. Another good example in this film is after the dad has beaten *beep* out of his kids, one asks, "Can I make you hamburger with onions?"

"Jesus, does anyone?"

I just watched this movie and when I heard that line I could not believe it. Instead of shutting it down she proceeds to tell them its like eating ice cream. Strange lines...
