okay does any of you have any ideas if the state mental hospital in the movie is real,if so can you please give me the name i've seen this on you tube?

I think the exteriors are somewhere near Atlanta. However, the interiors to the hospital and inside the house are studio sets in the UK (Shepperton Studios).
