What does Chauvelin do?
I'm still very confused, on what his job is. I don't know what he does. does anyone know what Chauvelin does? Is he an agent for the french goverment? I may be wrong.

i think chauvelin is a low rung politician, trying to work his way up to robespieres (sp?) equal.
Chauvelin is the Chief Agent for the Committee of
National Security. He is responsible for seeking dangerous people and enemies of the Republic (aristos, their friends etc.), all those who can "undermine the Revolution itself"
