I just bought this yesterday... I remember many years back (more than 10 years, I was 12 when I first saw TSP), I taped it from the tv and watched it over and over again. The old VHS tape has those stripes because I watched the movie so often, but I haven't seen it in a few years. Then I stumbled upon it in the video-store yesterday, and there was no doubt. It went with me home, and I just rewatched it...

I have missed it so much! Sir Percy is the true hansom and brave hero, and it reminds me why I love historical movies. Chauvelin is just as a badguy should be, wearing black and being cruel, and Marguerite is just beautiful. Everyone plays so well in it, and I love to now again be able to lean back in the sofa and just sniff in all this good old-fashioned romance and drama this movie has! YAY for TSP!

anyone else feels like me about this movie? How can you not love it... and the swordfight in the end, it's just the best!

I've just bought it too and I love it. I've watched it twice and will undoubtedly watch it again soon with someone else.

I must laugh; this is in my top ten list, and my son (now 15) is old enough to start learning about this stuff, so we watched it, and the only commentary I got out of him was, "Wow! Is that MAGNETO?" Pfft.

It's my duty...my duty as a complete and utter bastard.
