I watched this movie last night with my husband, he'd never seen it before. I had seen it a long time ago, and had cried my eyes out. So when i watched it last night i thought i wouldnt cry, but as soon as savannah leaves the two guys, i lost it and just started crying. I just love how the 2 guys take care of savannah and come to love her, all she wanted was to be loved and have someone to have fun with. This movie touches my heart and will always make me cry!!!

i got this film on dvd last week for a 40th birthday present. i've not seen it for 20 years.

I cried like a baby from the moment they went on the picnic and were so happy and you knew it couldn't last.

my 14 year old son was watching it with me and when the police got alvie and bootsie he asked me "You crying?" I said "yeah, why are you?" "nearly" he said.

the bit i didn't remember was how weird alvie was in the bar when he is flirting with the singer. real weird.
