Tarantino loves this film!

Tarantino has a huge love affair with Aussie exploitation movies, and loves this film. Turkey Shoot is another big fave of his. Those movies, and others (like Man from Hong Kong) were his staple viewing diet back in his days of working in a video hire shop.

Thats all i wanted to say.

You never know. Perhaps Tarantino might remake Running On Empty because of his love for it.

He copied a big chunk of Aussie film 'Fair Game' with 'Death Proof'.
