The Greatest Exploitation Film Ever Made

I defy you to come up with something better.

You think its good, n' then you remember that it's got both Cameron mitchell and Vic Diaz in it.

How it still has no cult following is beyond me!
ahh- you'll all come running in time!

and i'll be here to greet you.

I agree. "Raw Force" is simply awesome. Besides Cam and Vic, let's not forget Camille Keaton as the hot topless babe making out with some lucky guy in a bathroom. This fantastic flick needs to come out on DVD already. My used VHS copy is really beat-up and could use an upgrade.

I enjoy keeping busy. Satan finds work for idle hands.

I bought the 'Grindhouse Experience' and must say, this films is GREAT! Loads of fun, gore and nudity. Hands down the best exploitation flick i've seen in a long time.

reply

I absolutely have to agree. This film was awesome! I couldn't believe after watching it that I hadn't heard of it before. That's a damn shame! This should be the feature of any Grindhouse Film Festival.

reply

Yeah this film is amazing. I would describe it as "Giligan's Island in Hell"---only better. I too got it from the Grindhouse Experience.

"WAKE UP! IT'S RHYMETYME!!!!!"

reply

Yep! Along with "Two Tough Guys", "Raw Force" is the best reason for owning "The Grindhouse Expreience."

reply

Agreed, ya can't get much better than Raw Force! Zombies, Kung Fu, and endless babes!! And lets not forget Cameron Mitchel! A classic!

I've watched this movie twice in the past few weeks and laughed my ass off both times. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it enough to write a comment for imdb about it.
Question: Betty, the girl talking to the "religious freak" as he's listed in the end credits, is gorgeous, does anyone know who she is? She's not listed on imdb, was she ever in any other movie?

check out these websites, rare and hard to find stuff, may seem a little expensive but may be worth it if you think the stuff wont come out on dvd or you cant get a vhs copy

also from these sites, some of them rate the quality of the picture from a-f

I'm about to buy raw force, just heard of it but it sounds sweet

This is on the Grindhouse Experience DVD set. It's ripped from a VHS, obviously, and there's some VHS glitches in the first couple minutes, but after that the quality is acceptable.

And yeah, I quite enjoyed it. Genuinely funny, never dull, lots of pointless nudity and violence, some gags played for laughs actually WORK, and great characters. It's also nice watching these older low budget flicks where there was a degree of technical competence missing from many later films along these lines (micro budget DV films, I'm looking in your direction).

My favorite bit is probably when the guy gets hit in the back with an axe repeatedly. First two times, he says "OW!".

reply

Yeah, I have to say it would be hard to find something cheesier than this one. "Raw Force" had EVERYTHING! Nudity, slave girls, martial art fights, ship wrecks, cannibals, it just goes on and on!

I completely agree that this deserves its own cult following. I saw this in 2003 at Berkeley's "Born to Be Bad" film festival (http://www.trashcinema.com/) where it was the clear standout. It came back to mind recently (really, how could you forget it?) and I'm delighted to hear that it's now available in a DVD collection. I wish some cinemas would pick it up since it is glorious to see with an audience.

This is a truly special film. Took me a while to find it a few years ago, now of course it's much easier. Cinemageddon anyone?

Kung-fu, crazy Monks, a lot of naked ladies, a Disco-Music Party in a Ship, a Danger Island, and.. Warrior Zombies!

Certainly the most craptastic anyway.

"Hey, look at that! She's not crazy, she's being chased by a cheetah!"

have to agree with you, Corpus.

"It's always opening time in the Sailors Arms".

I hear Code Red intend to release it and can't wait.
