Criterion is releasing it!!!
I can't wait!
Later that day, after tea... I died, suddenly.
Finally! Let's hope Amator (Camera Buff) will follow.
I kinda dislike the translated titles for both films. In case of Amator, the brilliance of the title in its original language relies on its double meaning - in Polish it means both an amateur and an enthusiast. "Przypadek" is a similar case, can mean simply coincidence/chance like bumping into a beer-drinking wino at the railway buffet or fate. Blind Chance is closer to Slepy Traf, a clearly metaphysical concept. English titles replaced one word multifaceted idea with a very concrete meaning, descriptively in two words.
Netflix only had the DVD, not the Blu-ray, but it still looked fantastic.share
