So late at night. At other people’s house? He even took out a pan and everything.
shareI think because they were sleeping in shifts to watch out for activity. Plus, it let them do the awesome scene with the steak. It’s such a good movie! But I can definitely see where you’re coming from.
shareAgreed, the only thing I can think of is that they must have brought their own food with because he took the steak out of the fridge and not the freezer.
Ordering a couple of pizza would be less intrusive though.
The family could easily have given them permission to make themselves feel at home and help themselves to food from the kitchen if they wished, seeing as they were there to help out while staying for the night. Maybe the guy stretched that courtesy to its fullest by getting the steak and pan out, but he was probably well aware of that too. Perhaps it was his way of treating himself after getting bitten for his troubles earlier.
